The Hawai’i Academy of Recording Arts (HARA) presented the 47th Annual Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards on August 3rd, 2024, at the Hawai’i Convention Center. This prestigious event celebrates excellence in Hawaiian music and continues a tradition that began in 1978 with KCCN-AM Radio, the world’s first all-Hawaiian music radio station.
HARA’s mission extends beyond the annual awards ceremony, providing scholarships to Hawaii’s university students through partnerships with Tropical Music, Inc. The organization also promotes growth in Hawaii’s recording industry through educational seminars and business development initiatives, working alongside the Recording Academy and the Hawaii Island Economic Development Board.
OnStage Hawaii supported the 47th Annual Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards with comprehensive technical solutions, including LED video walls, stage lighting, and custom staging elements. These production elements helped transform the Hawaii Convention Center for this celebration of Hawaiian music.
