Under the theme “Many Rivers, One Ocean,” the event embodied the Buddhist concept of Shinnyo – the true and pure nature of all things. As explained by Craig Yamamoto, Community Relation Liaison of Shinnyo-en Hawaii, the ceremony welcomes people of all beliefs to share in this physical expression of love and remembrance, offering a space for comfort, connection, and healing.
